Fire

A school poster I see en route college 'boasts',''Separate classes for boys and girls.'' I heave a sigh..of disappointment and reach a place, where I learn from a few friends that the head authority has announced that the students interacting(I mean,''talking'') with the opposite sex shall be ''dealt with'' ..harshly,is it?.Wow.And then they have the gumption to talk of profound 'theories'(that's what noble thoughts are for them-just thoughts) such as,''United we stand;divided we fall.'';have the guts to watch progressive cinema and remark,''So true'' and ''Wah wah, what a powerful message!''.. et cetera;have the audacity to admire the modern thought ..in art and literature, but shy away(and force others to do so),in what they call 'real' life. And then the newspapers write that this country is developing.Probably.But from what I see,our country is developing only technologically(atleast a majority of it). What about the social and cultural progress of the country? What about the freedom of thought and of action? What about the actual elements that 'nourish'(read poison) the roots of this  'growing' nation? It's sad to know that the seeds of revolution have only been planted;not yet sprouted.

Yet they say that this country has evolved...Well,it may have evolved ,but it definitely is not evolved.....yet.
